Preamble:

This week, we shall be taking a critical study which relates to every individual’s life and purpose with the title “Music and its divinity” to help reveal the mysterious intrigues behind songs generally especially the melodious ones and help re-align our understanding with God in this regard because everybody loves music but the chronic diversity surrounding it are unknown to many.

The world in its entirety has taken a new shape in terms of socialization and modernization which the devil has really been using as a great instrument to hijack many to himself: a package which was anchored upon music and wouldn’t have been possible without this because the world has a language of a unified and generalize social culture system capable of calling every individual to it desire and which was aided by good melodious songs.

He (the devil) has also synchronized the world with the power of demonic music because he knows that music, especially when done to a deity is power and it is one of the easiest ways to fully lure the youths into the world. It is therefore high time believers and unbelievers, around the globe wake up to this hidden tricks and devises of the devil being engaged to stylishly swap them off the eternal race or end up becoming his subject. Introduction:

Music is basically any form of structured communications whether audible or not, vocally expressed or not, but which in turns must agree with the state of the mind to determine its melodious suitability. In other words, the state of your mind in relation to your heart shall be the bedrock of your utterances whether audible or not which therefore becomes the songs in your mouth.

It therefore means that one’s state of the mind (heart) is very paramount to the composition of songs and which could help or put in jeopardy the heart of those that follow suit because any word or communication from a corrupt mind shall equally impact corruption into the hearts of men, likewise any word or communication from a holy and Godly heart shall impact holiness and Godliness into the heart of those who embrace it (Colossians 4: 6).

The heart is the engine room of a man and everything that makes up the man is circled around it. The heart also, is very prone to corruption because two major forces, one for God and the other for the devil are contending over it for lordship (Galatians 5: 17) but every man has been given adequate power by his/her own conscience to decide which one to follow (Proverb 16: 9). And of course, we know that every heart that picks after the devil is cursed and ruined already as its end is destruction (Ezekiel 18: 4, Revelation 22: 11). Consequently, the heart of man became the most priced and cherished habitation for every deity knowing fully well that once captured, the soul of the victim is under their custody but God who is the Creator of the earth and all that dwells within is the rightful owner of every soul (Ezekiel 18: 4, Genesis 1: 26-28). The devil has no other business than to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) but his primary aim first is to steal your glory and have your soul coveted but when this isn’t achievable or not forthcoming as suppose then he (devil) will upgrade his approach with very tough means which may result to destruction or killing the body since he cannot kill the soul as it belongs to God only (1 Chronicle 29: 11). However, the soul if not in allegiance to God in righteousness can be sent to hell for punishment.

The truth that needs be told is that the devil has no power over your soul for the soul is of eternal value and belong to God and God will judge every man by it (Matthew 10: 28). In other words, your soul remains even after death to receive judgement from God of how you have lived your entire life on earth and God will be the one to determine whether to punish it or have mercy over it (Romans 9: 15) as He alone holds the power for such judgement, even the devil won't be able to help you at this point because he (devil) is also waiting to receive his own judgement from God as he was created by God (Revelation 22: 11-14).

When your soul is in full obedient to God then your children and great-grandchildren after you will benefit from it because God had made this promise to His dear loving children who are faithful to Him that He will show mercy to them and their grandchildren even up to a thousand generations of their descendants yet to come but that He will also punish the children of those who hate Him and refuse to obey His commandments even up to four of their generations to come or except they repent and turn from their father evil way (Exodus 20: 5-6, 2 Chronicle 7: 14).

Man is made up of three mysterious vital components and these are the body, spirit and soul, out of which the spirit and soul which are invisible and a property of the subconscious are the greatest with eternal value as the body which is made from the dust shall return back to the dust and exist no more (Genesis 3: 19) but the spirit and soul remain. The devil also has some level of power over the body because he was created so and for this, he was ordained (2 Corinthians 4: 4, John 14: 30, Ezekiel 28: 13), and which he has been using to control men and gain access into their hearts thereby coveting their souls. I pray for you diligently reading this sermon that every area of your real self that the devil has hijacked and sat on be restored back in Jesus name. Again I say, receive grace for total restoration in Jesus mighty name.

Every diety loves music especially the sweet passionate and melodious ones because they know that music of such melodies is a component of the heart which is their desired habitat so they can easily find their resting place in every individual and this is the exact reason why such music carry special divinity or power but unknown to many songwriters, singers, dancers and follower, how such powers behind the melodious songs from their heart can impact on them negatively or positively. I pray the Lord grant you grace for this height of knowledge in Jesus name.

Music also, particularly those that are melodious is a form of heartfelt worship, thanksgiving and adoration (Psalm 100: 4) which applauds the resident deity taking lordship of the heart where the songs are coming from especially when the utterances in such songs befit the one taking its lordship. Corrupt utterances will bring glory to the devil while godly and grace-filled utterances bring glory to God Almighty (Colossians 4: 6).

In other words, a music that is entirely filled with immorality, immoral acts or immoral words or curse is only bringing glory to the devil and helping to propagate his ministry of stealing, killing and destroying. Therefore, every individual who by way of embracing it, follow suit is imparted negatively even with demonic anointing and likewise get corrupted because it is a heart to heart translation or relationship. This is the mystery behind it. When a musician is so popular and rich even by this act of immoral songs, he is only partnering with the devil and has become his agent to help propagate his work which is the only reason, he gets riches from him (the devil) because the devil also gives good things to his loyal children but to which the soul has been coveted and of course the end is destruction (Matthew 7: 11, Mark 8: 36).

Even God who is the Creator of heaven and earth including other small deities that dwell therein whom He (God) also gave some power in time past like the devil and the fallen angels (Chronicles 29: 11, John 3: 16, Ezekiel 28: 12-17) will not accept a service, worship or thanksgiving that is not from the heart (2 Corinthians 9: 7-8) as they critically frowns at it, even God (Matthew 15:8-9) and such service can only come by good, passionate and melodious songs because the moment such music are engage, it quickens the spirit and the heart of the one receiving or pronouncing it, and as such comes to the deity as a sweet smelling savour. As a result, the four living creature and twenty four elder in heaven bows down before the majesty throne of God to worship Him day and night without stop, saying “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is, and is to come.” (Revelation 4: 4-11).

But the reverse is the case in today’s world where socialization and modernisation had been eaten up by immorality and immoral act particularly immoral dressing which transmit immoral tune, thought and desire into the heart of men thereby inducing spiritual corruption and demonic impartation. Even our Lord Jesus christ forbid it and critically warned that he who looks at a woman lustfully already committed adultery with her in his heart and trust me, this is also acknowledged spiritually whenever a man engage in such lustful looking (Matthew 5: 28).

Beloved, immorality is the height of corruption that God can never endure and if you want to send Him away from you, just venture into it and before you think of it, He (God) is out. This is because your body is supposed to be His temple, holy and reserved for Him as the creator but the moment you launch into an immoral sin especially sexual immorality then you are uniting that same body with something else which may not be of God particularly if the union is not done under God’s watch or approval and if that’s the case, God will destroy such temple as He had pre-warned us that anyone who destroys His temple shall him also destroy (1 Corinthians 3: 16-17, 1 Corinthians 6: 18-20). The devil knows this sure standard of God that cannot be changed and this is why he (devil) works very hard to make sure you are saturated with an immoral act that God can get frustrated and leave you for him and so that you become his subject.

This is also the main reason why the devil does everything in his power to make sure he lure the youth through a very good melodious worldly songs that are saturated with immorality so he can gain men at large to himself. You will also realise that the world has gotten to a point where every musician particularly those in the secular world must include immoral form of dancing, dressing and acting in their script, video and production for them to sell at best. Do not be deceived, for this is the brain work of the devil stealing men to himself through this means but God has brought this message to you today so you can be cautioned and make a redress for He (God) is a loving and merciful father once you repent of your sinful way, He has no problem with you but if you refuse to repent is where you have a serious problem with Him (God) (John 15: 22, Revelation 22: 11).

Impartation for immoral demonic anointing is basically through personal desires and nothing more, this means that the moment you engage in lustful desire maybe for an immoral act, dressing, dancing and behaviour, then you are in for the game which comes with the deeper spiritual tune (Matthew 5: 27-28). There are many demonic doors that may have been opened through lustful desire and this is why you must nurture or control your urge in all aspect of life, less it makes you fall. Such impartation even as we have read above also comes with special devilish power sometimes to enable it perform the task it is meant for, as the devil himself was created with power even as a guardian cherub to whom all precious stone adorn (Ezekiel 28: 12-15) but the good news is that all the authority had been taken from him (devil) except you submit yourself to him and gave him your soul that he will have power over you.

And God is going to critically judge both the woman who is always desiring to be skimpy in her dressing to attract men to themselves and the man that is always running after every immoral thing even after hearing this world of salvation. You will be judged not because of this sin of immorality for our God is so merciful that he understand that man is limited in power over Satan (flesh) except God be with him and that we can never attain total perfection when we are still in the flesh (Galatians 5: 17) but you will be chronically judged because you have received this message of salvation severally and bluntly refuse to repent (John 15: 22).

So beloveth, I will therefore humbly admonish you to repent from this immoral sin which is the killer of the glory of God in you and have a glorious eternal destiny with God who is the creator of all things both in earth and heaven. Maybe you are a woman reading this message and is having a strong conflict towards repenting from this immoral desire, I have a message for you and the message is this:

The desire you are experiencing to dress immorally maybe to slightly reveal part of your breast or put on a very skimpy dress that reveals your hips and lap is nothing but brain work of the devil and it is still the same devil that make certain men fall to it or makes you look very attractive to them, you will need a very strong decision, determination, and inward desire beyond prayer towards repenting from such immoral act to be able to conquer that of the devil’s desire especially when you have been so addicted to it, so the ball actually lies in your court as you have been given a conscience to decide and choose between good and evil which is why God will be judging you only and no other person, not even the devil as he is damm already and has been condemned to eternal damnation. I pray that you receive power to overcome every satanic desire in You in Jesus name.

Women are particularly the most of the contact point for immoral sin for they are created specially and therefore carry much of God’s glory that can bring down even great men which is the reason why they must be covered properly and be treated with care not to pollute the heart of men (1 Timothy 2: 9-11) and please desist from melodious song which comes with immoral tone for they are great killer in disguise. I pray the Lord grant you the grace for total abstinence in Jesus name. The following bible verses as used above are extracted and fully quoted below:

The bible verse above 1 Corinthians 3: 16-17 KJV reads:

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

The bible verse above 1 Corinthians 6: 18-20 KJV reads:

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

The Bible verse above 2 Corinthians 9: 7-8 KJV reads:

“Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”

The bible verse above Revelation 4: 4-11 KJV reads:

“And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind…

…And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

Music is power and it is one of the greatest channels to bring down God’s mightiness over any circumstance on earth but only those done observing total holiness and abstaining from any form of immorality. It is also the easiest form of adaptability and able to sustain like environmental behavioural factors and mood thereby resulting in the same encompassing spirit-fill. As we read above, the devil has used this package to stylishly and unknowingly steal people away from God and we are restoring them back through this means but in a godly and holy manner because God is holy and for anyone to succeed or have a profitable dealing with Him, (s)he must be HOLY [Amos 3: 3].

Music is a mysterious tool and phenomenon which has the tendency and capability of unifying a gathering. In the light of this, good heart-felt melodious song is a strong tool for a deity as such songs can easily quicken your spirit person to connect within the direction of its proclamation. A deity also desires the gathering of souls to worship and adore him. However, God, the only Supreme and eternal Deity demands true worship from His faithful followers while the devils also covet subtly for lordship among those who follow suit [Isaiah 14: 12-14, Galatians 5: 17]. Therefore, beware and be careful of the type of song you sing (and/or listen to) as this could go a long way to determine which deity you are worshipping, especially when the song is so melodious to have the capacity of calling and entangling your spirit person thereby having your soul imprisoned by the devil.

Beloveth, godly melodious songs are a pillar of spiritual warfare [Act 16: 25-32, Ephesians 6: 12-14], a channel of deeper gratitude and an esteemed adoration to God [1 Thessalonian 5:18, Philippians 4: 6], and of course, a brilliant and fast medium for God’s visitation [Jeremiah 33:3, ]. For a music to remain melodious both to God and man, then we must strive to always render new songs (Psalm 96: 1-13). When you worship and adore God Almighty through a holy and a heart-felt melodious song, you are calling down His majesty and power which He cannot resist especially when that comes from a holy heart. Thus, I will admonish you to explore this medium deeper and see God at work in your life. May the Lord give you the grace to this level of ability in Jesus name.

“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ”

(Ephesians 5:19‭-‬20 KJV)

“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord , all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”

(Psalm 100: 1-5 KJV)

The Bible verse above Psalm 96: 1-13 reads, 

“O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord , all the earth. Sing unto the Lord , bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens. Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. Give unto the Lord , O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice Before the Lord : for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.”

Summary and Conclusion:

We have learnt that music is power especially those melodious ones which the utterances befit the one taking the lordship of the heart where the songs is coming from and that, one of the ways we can keep our songs melodious to man and to God is by always singing new songs from a holy heart to refresh our spirit.

We have learnt how music relates with the heart, that every sweet passionate melodious songs is a product of the heart and when the heart is corrupt, it brings or imparts corruption through the songs on the hearer and on the heart of those who by way of embracing it, follow suit.

We have learnt that the state of the mind (heart) is very key to the compositions of songs as the pronounciation or utterances will definitely applaud the one taking lordship of the soul and thereby transmit it to the hearers or follower as this is a heart to heart translation or relationship.

We have also learnt that the most acceptable form of service our creator (God) desire is the one from a pure heart and that a good melodious song is the best option in this regard as it will send a sweet-smelling savour unto Him our creator and so, He will come down speedily to bless and meet our needs.

I pray that the Lord gives you the grace to worship him in truth and in spirit in Jesus name.

However, remember to be sure of what you are doing, so as not to be going back and forth or making light of His holy name. (When you respect Him and give Him  honour, He will also honour you in the sight of men; Matthew 6: 6).

 "Lord Jesus, I come with total humbleness of heart to ask for thhe forgiveness of my sins and accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Please,  forgive me all my sin (you can begin to name them as you can recall). I  surrender my life to You and I want you to come and take full charge  over my life. I accept You as my Lord and my Saviour. Please, cleanse  me with Your blood that You shed on the cross and make me a new man,  leaving old things behind. I promise to serve You and do Your will at  all times. I therefore ask for the strength to carry on. Thank You, Lord Jesus,  for saving me. Amen.
